Your guide to Morzine lift passes
Morzine is in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, one of the largest linked ski areas in the world, with more than 650km of pistes across two countries: France and Switzerland. With one lift pass, you’ll have a huge ski area to explore throughout your stay.

In Winter there are two main options for your lift passes:
The right pass depends on your group and how much of the ski area you plan to explore. The Morzine & Les Gets pass is ideal for beginners and families staying mainly on the local slopes, while the Portes du Soleil pass gives more experienced skiers access to the entire area.
Morzine & Les Gets
Known as the ‘local pass’, this covers the Pleney and Nyon areas, as well as all of Les Gets, including Mont Chery, which offers some of the best views of the Alps and Mont Blanc.
It’s particularly popular with beginners and families with children attending ski school on Pleney, with plenty of wide, gentle green and blue runs to enjoy.

Portes du Soleil
Known as the ‘full area pass’, this gives you access to the entire Portes du Soleil ski area, including Morzine, Les Gets, Super Morzine, Avoriaz and Châtel, as well as the Swiss resorts of Champéry and Les Crosets, to name just a few.
It’s the best option for most skiers who are beyond the complete beginner stage, giving you the freedom to explore the whole area and ski somewhere different each day.

Pedestrian Passes
If skiing isn’t your thing, a pedestrian pass is a great way to enjoy the mountains. Use it to meet friends or family at a mountain restaurant, access snowshoeing routes or just enjoy some altitude views. A pedestrian pass gives you access to the Pleney Gondola, Nyon Cable Car, Super Morzine, Ardent Gondola, Prodains 3S and Zore and Plateau Chairlifts.
Summer lift passes
In summer, the Portes du Soleil becomes one of Europe's biggest mountain biking playgrounds, with 600 km of marked trails stretching across France and Switzerland. From flowing forest trails and alpine singletracks to technical downhill runs, there’s something for every type of rider.
A single Portes du Soleil bike pass gives you access to five interconnected bike parks in Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Châtel and Champéry-Morgins, with 26 lifts accessible to mountain bikes. There are also dedicated areas for beginners, pump tracks, jump parks, slopestyle and e-bike riding.
