We are looking for one host to work alongside the chef in Chalet La Grange. As well as maintaining the chalet to a high standard with daily cleans and exceptional service, you will be happy to interact with the guests to ensure they have what they need to make their holiday the best possible.
You will have a good knowledge of our food and wine, and be able to assist the chef with afternoon tea, prep, plating and service.
We are looking for a passionate chef to work alongside the host in Chalet La Grange. We design a new menu each year, and the chef will have flexibility to expand and adapt. A hot and continental breakfast is served on five mornings, an afternoon tea each day and a four course evening meal on five nights. Presentation and flavour is key, as well as a passion for good, seasonal ingredients.
Outside of the kitchen we expect the chef to assist our host, especially on changeover days with cleaning, making beds and general maintenance.
Applicants will need a valid EU passport or a right to work in France and a clean drivers license is required for shopping day.
Comprehensive training will begin at the start of the season to ensure you’re prepared for your time in the mountains. Fluent English is required for the role but French would certainly be useful. Experience in the ski industry would be preferred but is not essential.
